Product Delivery & Forecast Transformation Intern

About the role

HP Barcelona is looking for a Product Delivery & Forecast Transformation Intern to support a cross-functional improvement project that reduces order-to-delivery turnaround time (TAT) for third-party offering (3PO) products, initially focusing on Getac. The intern works with 3PO business, Getac, Foxconn, Planning, Logistics, Sales Operations and order-management stakeholders to map the end-to-end delivery flow, analyse delivery-date accuracy and lead-time drivers, and recommend actions that improve delivery predictability and customer visibility. The internship starts in February 2027 and runs until June-July 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate order, planned-date, shipment, logistics ETA and proof-of-delivery data into a baseline for Getac and other priority 3PO products, and measure end-to-end TAT and first-plan and revised-plan accuracy.
• Document how demand signals, pipeline information, customer requirements and order forecasts are shared, and recommend a forecasting model covering horizon, granularity, cadence, ownership, supplier acknowledgment, capacity checks and forecast-versus-actual tracking.
• Map the physical product flow and order-status updates, run root-cause reviews for inaccurate commitments and long lead times, and propose pilots and standard work.
• Create a KPI framework and dashboard (forecast accuracy, first-plan accuracy, ship and delivery TAT, exception aging, on-time closure) and support a weekly operating cadence.
• Use Microsoft 365, Copilot, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint or workflow tools to simplify analysis and reporting, and prepare updates for operational, supplier and leadership reviews.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Spanish university and eligible to sign an internship agreement with it, remaining enrolled until the end of the internship.
• Available to start in February 2027 and finish by June-July 2027.
• Degree in progress in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Data/Business Analytics or a related field.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Analytical, structured problem solver with good written communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft 365 Copilot or process-mapping tools is an advantage.
