Production Engineer

About the role

Jet Aviation is seeking a Production Engineer to join its Madrid team, delivering museum‑quality cabin interiors for business aviation clients. You will work at the intersection of engineering and craftsmanship, turning complex design challenges into tangible, high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering tasks in both operational and production settings, focusing on cabin component design and installation.
• Analyze mechanical design challenges and devise practical solutions from production and engineering perspectives.
• Develop and implement standards and procedures to ensure top‑quality mechanical design and production engineering.
• Drive workflow improvements across Mechanical & Production Engineering, optimizing manufacturing requirements, cabin design, and product support.
• Capture best practices, define methods and tools to improve engineering data quality, reduce costs, and enhance inventory and standards usage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and represent Jet Aviation with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in aviation or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, with a proven record in completions projects and complex technical assignments.
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts, practices, and tools relevant to mechanical and production engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical tasks in collaborative, multicultural environments.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) for close collaboration with global teams and leadership.
