Project Quality Engineer - Customer Liaison

About the role

Lear For You is looking for a Project Quality Engineer - Customer Liaison to support the Electronics Campus in Valls. The role acts as the main contact between customers and internal teams on quality matters, leading investigations of customer complaints, driving corrective and preventive actions and ensuring timely resolution of quality issues. It works closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and supplier teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to investigate customer complaints and drive containment, corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze customer-reported issues to identify root causes and define sustainable solutions.
• Coordinate investigations with internal experts, external laboratories and suppliers when needed.
• Ensure containment actions are implemented quickly to protect customers and business operations.
• Prepare, review and present Failure Analysis Reports and 8D reports to customers.
• Act as the primary quality liaison between customers and manufacturing, engineering and quality teams.
• Support customer visits, audits and technical discussions on quality concerns.
• Monitor corrective action plans and ensure timely closure of quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives on product quality, process effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Lead task forces and escalations for critical customer issues and high-impact quality incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in the electronics and/or automotive industry.
• Fluent Spanish and English, written and spoken.
• Strong communication, organizational and stakeholder management skills; proactive and results-oriented.
• Legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
