Project Worker Partner - International Field Assignments

About the role

Hitachi Energy Spain is looking for a Project Worker Partner to join its Global Mobility team in Madrid. The role acts as the main point of contact and case manager for employees on international assignments and their families, working with Project Worker Coordinators, Advisors and cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless experience, with a focus on service quality, compliance and employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the central contact for employees, managers, HR teams and external vendors throughout the lifecycle of international assignments.
• Manage short-term and long-term assignments, giving end-to-end guidance and support to assignees and their families.
• Work with coordinators, advisors and stakeholders to deliver assignments efficiently and in line with company policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with external partners on immigration, relocation, tax and assignment-related services.
• Monitor assignment activities to ensure timely delivery, high-quality service and a positive employee experience.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across countries, cultures and seniority levels.
• Contribute to Global Mobility initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Tax, Law, Human Resources or another relevant discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in Global Mobility, international assignment management, employee services or a related field.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Knowledge of international assignment administration, immigration, taxation and employment regulations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and geographies.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
