QA Engineer

About the role

Avarda Bank is seeking a QA Engineer to join its credit‑card development team within the fintech space. You will work in a distributed, high‑energy team responsible for internal and customer‑facing systems across several European countries, ensuring software meets both business and banking standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers and delivery managers to understand functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Plan, design and execute test activities, including functional, regression, performance and security testing.
• Support user‑acceptance testing and cooperate with developers on defect resolution and improvements.
• Create and maintain test cases, run them manually or with automation tools, and log and track defects.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer covering unit, integration and performance testing.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field (BSc/MSc).
• Proficient English (B1/B2 or higher).

Required skills

• Testing REST APIs with Postman.
• Building automated regression suites with Selenium in C#.
• Working with Azure DevOps and querying MSSQL databases.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities for financial‑grade software.
