Quality Management Systems Specialist – Automotive

About the role

LEAR Valls manufacturing plant is seeking a highly skilled Quality Management Systems Specialist to join its automotive technology team. The role focuses on maintaining, developing, and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet corporate, customer, and certification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, develop, and improve the QMS in line with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and industry standards.
• Ensure all documentation, procedures, and internal processes remain aligned with customer and certification requirements.
• Support internal and external audits, coordinating preparation, execution, and follow‑up activities.
• Coordinate management of non‑conformities, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
• Train and support the organization on QMS requirements, methodologies, and quality tools.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in Quality Management Systems, preferably in the automotive or electronics industry.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive analytical mindset.
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards.
• Proficiency with quality core tools such as 8D, PFMEA and Control Plan.
• Experience with QMS documentation and audit coordination.
