About the role

The Barceló Hotel Group is seeking a professional Receptionist to join its team in the Alicante province. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all front‑desk operations, including check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Provide personalized in‑person and telephone assistance throughout guests' stays.
• Perform concierge duties, handle luggage storage, and respond to guest requests.
• Review and verify reservations, and conduct night‑audit tasks.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Head of Reception.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing, or a related field with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer‑service experience in the hotel sector.
• High level of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of office software, hospitality operations, CRM tools, and ISO standards is valued.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
• Experience using CRM systems for guest management.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards applicable to hospitality.
