Recepcionista - Santa Cruz Contemporáneo

About the role

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests at the Santa Cruz Contemporáneo hotel, ensuring a smooth experience from arrival to departure. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment within the Barceló Hotel Group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all reception tasks before arrival, during the stay, and at checkout.
• Perform check‑in and welcome procedures for arriving guests.
• Handle check‑out and farewell processes for departing guests.
• Provide in‑person and telephone customer service throughout the guest’s stay.
• Carry out concierge duties and manage luggage storage.
• Review and verify reservations.
• Conduct nightly audit procedures.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing or a related field.
• Specific training in tourism quality standards.
• Minimum 2 years of customer‑service experience in the hotel sector.
• High level of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of office software, hospitality operations, CRM systems and ISO regulations is valued.
