Reservation Agent – Occidental Jandia Playa

About the role

Barceló Group is looking for a Reservation Agent to join the Occidental Jandia Playa team. You will be the main point of contact for guests’ booking needs, ensuring smooth reservation processes and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the reservation process, guaranteeing correct room allocation and availability.
• Use the reservation management system and channel manager to keep rates, policies and inventory up to date.
• Handle group bookings in collaboration with the sales manager.
• Monitor cancellations and re‑programming, adjust availability and manage related payments.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, solving reservation and accommodation issues.
• Oversee the implementation of loyalty programmes and promotional offers.

Required profile

• Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a reservations department.
• Fluent English; a second language is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to sell directly.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with the PMS QUOTEL system.
