Restaurant General Manager – High‑Volume Venue in Tenerife

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead a high‑volume, award‑winning restaurant in Tenerife. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving financial performance, and developing a large team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring service excellence and brand consistency.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 50+ employees.
• Manage budgets, P&L, labour costs, inventory and revenue targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, food hygiene and company standards.
• Maintain premium guest service standards and handle feedback.
• Collaborate with culinary, regional and head‑office teams on menu innovation and operational improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years progressive experience as a Restaurant General Manager in high‑volume, full‑service settings.
• Proven track record of P&L management, sales target achievement and cost control.
• Experience leading teams of 50+ in multi‑department operations.
• Strong understanding of premium or fine‑dining environments.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management software.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification.
• Knowledge of HACCP, inventory control and vendor management.
