Sales BMS/Reporting Project Manager

About the role

Within HP's GTM Data & Insights, the Sales BMS & Reporting team owns the sales reporting ecosystem and partners with business stakeholders and BI teams to deliver scalable, centralized reporting solutions. The company is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and structure sales reporting strategic initiatives, standardize definitions, streamline the reporting landscape and increase adoption of centrally provided solutions. The role sits at the intersection of data, business and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project management execution for the Sales BMS & Reporting team
• Own and maintain the Plan of Action (POA)
• Manage metrics and KPIs
• Establish and maintain governance with key stakeholders
• Define and manage project release scope, timelines, backlogs and intake of new requests with product owners
• Facilitate internal communication and cross-team collaboration
• Provide frequent project status reporting, identify risks, issues and dependencies and propose mitigation strategies
• Seek guidance and drive decision-making when required

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or demonstrable equivalent experience
• Excellent project management, problem-solving and analytical skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, including executive-level status reporting and stakeholder management
• Continuous improvement mindset focused on simplification, automation and standardization

Required skills

• Recommended: Agile methodology, preferably with Scrum Master certification
• Recommended: prior experience as a business analyst, product owner or similar role in finance/data/reporting or sales operations
• Recommended: Business Intelligence background
• Recommended: familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps and Smartsheet
