Sales Trainer & Coach (Automotive)

About the role

MSX International Group, a partner to vehicle manufacturers, retailers and mobility organisations for more than 30 years, is looking for a Sales Trainer & Coach for its automotive business. The selected person designs and delivers training and coaching programmes for automotive dealership networks, covering long-term rental, financial and insurance products, loyalty and retention programmes, automotive service sales, commercial processes and the customer journey. The aim is to build skills, improve performance and support sales results.

Candidates must be based in Madrid and be willing to travel extensively and continuously across the national territory.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom training to salespeople, consultants and dealership managers.
• Carry out on-the-job coaching at dealer locations.
• Manage complex training projects for automotive manufacturers and financial institutions.
• Develop training materials such as presentations, exercises, role plays and operating manuals.
• Run webinars and digital training sessions.
• Support dealers in applying sales processes correctly.
• Monitor KPIs, results and improvement areas of trained teams.
• Collaborate with the internal team on new training programmes.

Required profile

• At least 2-3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven experience as a Sales Coach.
• Preferred background in fleet and business sales or similar commercial roles.
• In-depth knowledge of dealership operations and sales processes.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Degree in Economics, Marketing, Communication or a related field preferred.
• Training or coaching certifications are an advantage.

Required skills

• Classroom and digital training delivery, webinars and dealership coaching.
• Design of engaging training materials and management of training projects for OEMs or captive finance companies.
• Knowledge of long-term rental offers, leasing, PCP, balloon financing, insurance and warranty extensions, and loyalty and retention programmes.
• Strong communication, leadership and group facilitation skills, and a results-driven, autonomous approach.
