SAP ABAP Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a SAP ABAP Engineer to join our SAS Technical Finance team. You will work remotely with product managers and technical teams to evolve and maintain our SAP RISE and SAP HANA Cloud environments, delivering new accounting features and integrations for an international leasing platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ABAP objects, custom Z‑reports and OData services for tax registration and financial processes.
• Expand SAP functionality to new countries, including new accounting events, integrations and validations.
• Participate in the full lifecycle from business definition through implementation, testing, rollout and production support.
• Manage SAP BTP applications and integration services, and support SAP Basis and cloud infrastructure.

Required profile

• Strong background in SAP ABAP development with object‑oriented programming.
• Experience working with SAP RISE, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Ability to collaborate with product managers, technical program managers and senior engineers.
• Proactive attitude and curiosity for continuous improvement.
