SAP FICO S/4 HANA Consultant – Principal Consultant (Madrid)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP FICO S/4 HANA Consultant to lead engagements in Madrid. You will drive end‑to‑end finance and controlling transformations for clients, primarily in the life‑sciences sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from business process consulting to solution design, development and deployment.
• Conduct design workshops for SAP S/4 HANA Finance and Controlling modules (FI, CO, Universal Journal, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, CO‑PA).
• Map life‑sciences business processes to SAP while ensuring GxP and SOX compliance.
• Provide architectural and design guidance, review deliverables and mentor delivery teams.
• Drive business pursuit initiatives, client training and internal capability building.

Required profile

• Minimum two full‑cycle SAP S/4 HANA implementations, preferably in life‑sciences.
• Proven experience leading workshops and translating business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Strong understanding of finance and controlling regulations (GxP, SOX).

Required skills

• SAP S/4 HANA Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
• Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New GL, Asset Accounting, Material Ledger, Actual Costing.
• Product Costing, Transfer Pricing, Margin Analysis (CO‑PA), Intercompany processes.
• Tax & Statutory accounting, multi‑GAAP, foreign currency handling, parallel ledgers.
• Configuration and deployment of core S/4 HANA Finance functionalities.
