SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Subject Matter Consultant

About the role

Zurich Technology Delivery Center (TDC), part of Zurich Insurance Group and based in Barcelona since 2006, is hiring an SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Subject Matter Consultant. The role sits in the IT Global HR Portfolio Team and supports SAP SuccessFactors and other global HR systems, advising on the evolution of the Compensation module and liaising with the Global HR Technology team.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and enhance SuccessFactors Compensation functionality with global and local HR teams, in line with the Global HR Systems Portfolio and Zurich's IT strategy.
• Configure and maintain Compensation, Variable Pay and Total Compensation templates, including eligibility rules, budgets, guidelines, workflows, worksheets, statements and executive review processes.
• Design and support bonus plans, proration logic, business goal mapping, Route Maps and approval workflows, and link Performance Management forms and rating sources to compensation processes.
• Contribute to the improvement of the Employee Central implementation, support new projects and acquisitions, and run quality reviews of configurations, role-based permissions, integrations and security.
• Work with the Applications Support team on documentation, impact analysis, change requests and defect resolution.
• Help implement SAP releases and updates with suppliers and HR teams, recommend improvements and decommissioning, and act as liaison between CoEs, Global HR and IT.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in an IT-related field, and at least five years of experience implementing, supporting and enhancing SuccessFactors in multinational organizations.
• Proven hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• Several years of experience in multicultural environments and with virtual teams, and excellent written and oral English.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience configuring Compensation and Variable Pay through Provisioning, including templates, eligibility rules, guideline matrices, custom fields, conditional calculations, multi-currency tables and budgeting logic.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end compensation cycles, approval processes, salary matrices, pay ranges, statement generation, EC publishing and role-based permissions.
• Integrations with SAP HCM and ServiceNow; SAP Cloud Platform integrations are a plus.
