SAP TM Architect / Consultant

About the role

Talan, an international consulting group focused on innovation and business transformation through technology, is looking for an experienced SAP TM Architect/Consultant to design, implement and optimise transportation management solutions. This is a permanent position in which you will work with business stakeholders, technical teams and external partners to gather requirements, design scalable solutions and implement best practices within the SAP TM framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration and implementation of SAP TM solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices.
• Analyse business processes and turn complex requirements into functional specifications and system designs.
• Advise on SAP TM functionalities such as freight order management, freight settlement, charge management and transportation planning.
• Work with technical teams on custom developments, integrations (e.g. with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, EWM, EM, GTS) and data migration.
• Perform system testing, support UAT and train end users.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, provide ongoing support and system enhancements.
• Stay up to date with SAP TM innovations and recommend strategic improvements.
• Maintain documentation such as functional specifications, configuration guides and test plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP TM Consultant or Architect.
• Proven expertise in several SAP TM modules (Freight Order, Freight Settlement, Charge Management, Planning, Optimization).
• At least 2 full-lifecycle SAP TM implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing and go-live support.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, able to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
