Senior AI Architect - Agentic AI Solutions

About the role

Future Connections is looking for a hands-on Agentic AI Architect to define and build AI agent-based solutions for its own projects and for clients. The role leads the company's AI line and works alongside engineering and project teams that know the telecom domain deeply, helping sales and project teams shape offers and explain technical decisions to clients. Telecom experience is not required.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and prioritise AI use cases in the telecom sector and support proposals and RFPs
• Design end-to-end architectures, from data ingestion to automated actions
• Define agent responsibilities, autonomy levels and interaction models (single vs multi-agent)
• Build guardrails, approvals, policy enforcement and rollback mechanisms
• Build solutions based on LLMs and AI agents, from architecture to working code
• Build RAG-based knowledge systems and work with streaming, real-time data pipelines at high volume
• Set up evaluation, monitoring and improvement of AI solutions in production
• Take part in client meetings and technical workshops and share knowledge with the team

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, ML or AI engineering, including as a technical reference or architect
• Recent experience (last 1-2 years) shipping LLM, RAG or AI agent solutions
• Experience with large data volumes, ideally streaming or real-time
• Good coding skills (Python) and strong communication skills with clients and non-technical audiences

Required skills

• At least one agent framework (LangChain, LangGraph or similar), tool/function calling and vector databases
• Solid knowledge of machine learning and experience designing and deploying AI/ML systems
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and AI/ML platforms
• Nice to have: consulting, pre-sales or RFPs experience; LLMOps / MLOps, AIOps, telecom (OSS, 5G, O-RAN) and AI governance knowledge
