About the role

Oliver Wyman's Data & Analytics (DNA) division, part of Marsh, is hiring a Senior Analyst in Madrid. DNA is a team of quantitative analytics specialists focused on Europe, working across Financial Services, Climate & Sustainability, Energy, Retail and Transportation. The analyst works with colleagues and clients at all levels to design solutions for analytical challenges, implement prototypes and assess their effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop tailored solutions for analytical challenges
• Design potential solutions and implement prototypes while assessing their effectiveness
• Work on projects such as NLP-based machine learning tools, portfolio decarbonization modelling, promotion analytics, GenAI chatbots, default and loss models, supply-chain risk methods and customer-churn models

Required profile

• Final-year student or recent graduate with a Bachelor, Master or PhD in a quantitative discipline (Data Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
• Data-driven mindset and ability to explain complex data science concepts clearly to clients and colleagues
• Strong commitment to teamwork and resilience in a fast-changing environment
• Excellent verbal and written Spanish or Portuguese and English
• Interest in financial services and risk management is a plus

Required skills

• Proficiency with numbers
• Ideally programming in Python or R, with a willingness to learn new technologies
