Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Vinmar International, a global leader in chemicals and plastics, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the finance team of its Spanish manufacturing subsidiary, Green World Compounding, S.L., based in Alhama de Murcia. Reporting to group headquarters, the role contributes to process improvement, financial accuracy and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the automation and digitalization of financial and accounting processes.
• Oversee periodic accounting reviews and manage the month-end and year-end close cycles.
• Coordinate and take part in external audit processes.
• Prepare and deliver financial reporting packages to the parent company on time and to standard.
• Monitor and control operational costs, identify variances and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar financial analyst role or in external auditing.
• Strong command of English (minimum B2); interviews will be held in English.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC) and IFRS.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics Navision and/or SAP.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00–18:00 and Friday 08:00–14:00. Candidates should attach their CV in English.
