Senior Associate Lawyer – Commercial & Real Estate

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Senior Associate Lawyer with 4–6 years post‑qualification experience to join our growing practice in the British Virgin Islands. The role offers the chance to work on high‑quality commercial, conveyancing and private‑client matters while enjoying a Caribbean lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Handle residential and commercial real‑estate transactions, including conveyancing, acquisitions, sales and leases.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and corporate documents.
• Provide estate‑planning advice, prepare wills, trusts and succession documents.
• Deliver private‑client advisory services to local, international and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Conduct due‑diligence, transaction management and legal research on BVI and common‑law principles.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through direct interaction.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent from a recognised common‑law university (UWI, UK or similar).
• 4–6 years post‑qualification experience in a reputable Caribbean, UK or other common‑law firm.
• Proven experience in conveyancing, real‑estate, commercial/corporate law and estate planning.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong drafting and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior lawyers.
