Senior Associate - Payroll and Data Management

About the role

Strada, a people, payroll and technology leader operating in 180+ countries, is looking for a Senior Associate to join the team responsible for executing payroll and post-payroll activities and/or data management and customer service activities. The role ensures outputs are accurate and on time, and the candidate may focus on payroll and/or customer service, supporting either as or when required.

Key responsibilities

• Independently process payroll end to end according to agreed calendars and KPIs, or carry out data management or customer service activities as agreed
• Support statutory and year-end reporting to agreed calendars and KPIs
• Advise clients on queries using payroll expertise and country-specific legislation
• Support and train apprentices and associates, and run knowledge transfer sessions
• Respond to tickets and calls within SLA timescales and support system maintenance and testing
• Liaise with third parties and ensure SOC controls are completed on time with evidence
• Contribute to root cause analysis and maintain DWIs and accurate time recording
• Report defects, log tickets and alert the Service Manager to deviations from the scope of service
• Follow security standards, attend team meetings, keep up with HR announcements and build good relationships with business lines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as accounting, human resources or business administration, or equivalent education and experience
• 2-3 years of experience administering payroll or health and welfare/benefits in an HR consulting, outsourcing or corporate environment
• Current and future work authorization in the country of application, without visa sponsorship
• Background checks (identity, education, employment, etc.) are required

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• HRIS knowledge: Workday, SAP or PeopleSoft preferred
• Experience with HR and payroll data desirable
