Senior Business Analyst - Insurance, Spanish Speaker (Fully Remote)

About the role

CoverGo is a global no-code insurance platform for health, life and property & casualty insurance, working with enterprise clients such as AXA, Bupa and MSIG. It is looking for a fully remote Senior Business Analyst who speaks Spanish fluently. The role involves working with clients and technical teams to define business needs, design processes and support testing.

Key responsibilities

• Work with clients and technical resources to identify business problems and develop analytical solutions
• Plan and design business processes and system modifications, and gather and document complex requirements through interviews and workshops
• Create test cases, oversee testing and help support QA, UAT and release phases
• Develop business requirement documents and user stories, and update process and procedural documentation
• Plan, allocate and monitor the work of other business analysts, and estimate project task times
• Analyse systems and data to surface actionable insights and support decisions
• Develop a basic understanding of the technical development cycle of mobile apps or web portals

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Degree in Business, IT or a relevant field
• Previous experience in the insurance industry is required
• Fluent Spanish; excellent written and verbal English
• Health insurance domain certification from INS/LOMA or III is an added advantage

Required skills

• Requirements definition, translation to technical solutions and Agile prioritisation (epics, sprints)
• Process documentation, requirements gathering and user acceptance testing
• Agile and/or Scrum experience is a must
• Process documentation, data integration and workflow basics
