Infrastructure & Endpoint Security Engineer

About the role

Devoted Studios is a globally remote game development company that works with partners on co-development, porting and end-to-end art production. It is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Infrastructure & Endpoint Security Engineer to protect its people, infrastructure and data. The role covers designing secure systems, monitoring for threats, responding to incidents and building a culture of security awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure network and infrastructure architecture, including firewalls, VPNs, access controls and network segmentation
• Secure servers, cloud resources, containers and virtual machines, and employee workstations
• Monitor endpoints and infrastructure, collect and analyze security logs, and detect, investigate and respond to incidents
• Perform vulnerability analysis, risk assessment, system hardening and patch management
• Set up security monitoring and alerting, investigate anomalies and carry out root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews
• Deliver security awareness training, run phishing simulations and campaigns, and manage training platforms
• Work with IT, DevOps, Infrastructure and HR teams, and complete client security questionnaires and assessments

Required profile

• Ability to explain security concepts to non-technical users and strong communication skills
• Proactive, security-first mindset and high attention to detail
• Good English (B2+) and basic scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python)

Required skills

• Network security (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS, proxies) and Zero Trust / least privilege
• Endpoint security (EDR, antivirus, disk encryption) and OS security (Windows, macOS, Linux)
• Monitoring, logging, authentication, authorization and IAM
• Security hardening, patch management and familiarity with security awareness platforms
