Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, Global Commercial Finance

About the role

Expedia Group B2B, the business-to-business arm of Expedia Group, is looking for a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join its Global Commercial Finance team. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Commercial Finance and acts as a business partner to the regional Sales and Finance teams, providing reporting and insights and helping unlock operational efficiencies. It is based in Madrid under a flexible work model requiring at least three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and consolidate financial and business inputs across all of B2B's regional divisions, and prepare slides and summary documents for executive reporting
• Deliver monthly and quarterly business performance metrics and insights to B2B Sales and Finance management
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial management information and high-level commentary for executives
• Model the long-range financial plan (3+ years) with Finance, Strategy and Sales leadership, turning insights into financial targets and growth ambitions
• Drive improvements in operational reporting and work with the Senior Commercial Finance Manager to improve processes and controls
• Perform ad-hoc analysis for cross-regional projects and deep dives into specific topics, and support the Senior Commercial Finance Manager in implementing new processes and controls
• Leverage AI and automation to increase efficiency across responsibilities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Confirmed commercial finance experience
• Highly fluent in English, written and spoken
• Ability to analyze data to solve business problems and to interpret and present data clearly to financial and non-financial audiences
• Ability to work autonomously, manage several projects at once and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills, including model building, formula optimization, data validation and error troubleshooting
• Experience with AI agents, Power Pivot and Power BI is a plus
• Ability to work in large, global, fast-moving organizations
