Senior DevOps Engineer for Industrial AI Cloud

About the role

T-Systems Iberia is recruiting a Senior DevOps Engineer for its Industrial AI Cloud project, which is developed jointly with NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom. The engineer advises the functional organization on implementing DevOps principles in terms of culture and technologies, prepares prototypes and concepts for further automation, and owns the end-to-end lifecycle of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement and support ICT components and applications on the AI Cloud platform.
• Develop concepts, processes and methods for automation, optimization and standardization.
• Advise colleagues and customers on technical aspects of the products and deliver project outputs.
• Maintain and enhance product pipelines, integrate different platforms and infrastructures, and perform root-cause analysis of pipeline errors.
• Design and implement service architectures based on the AI Cloud platform requirements.
• Mentor and train co-workers, act as technical lead and coordinate activities across related technologies.
• Set up and manage integration with partner applications.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience designing and delivering systems based on IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
• Experience with GPU-based infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes container technologies.
• Strong Linux experience.
• B2-level English; German is an advantage.
• Good communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, presentation and negotiation skills, basic project management and leadership overview, and intermediate quality management overview.

Required skills

• Scripting with Python and Bash.
• Automation tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform and Helm.
• CI/CD in a Kubernetes environment and repository management.
• Git (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.
• Monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
