Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

BVNK, a stablecoin-powered financial stack for enterprises now part of Mastercard, is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join its DevOps team. You will design, scale and maintain the resilient, highly available cloud infrastructure behind its global payments network, partnering with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code standards, observability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision and maintain secure, scalable multi-region cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Architect and optimise CI/CD pipelines for safe, repeatable releases.
• Implement monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting for high uptime and fast incident response.
• Embed DevSecOps practices, including automated compliance checks and access management.
• Build developer platforms and self-service tooling.
• Champion operational excellence and mentor engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating and scaling production systems in modern cloud environments (e.g. AWS).
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent).
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch.
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash or Go.
• Understanding of cloud security, VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, permissions and secrets management.
• Open to out-of-hours on-call duty.
