Senior Software Engineer - MXP

About the role

BVNK, a stablecoin-powered financial stack for enterprises now part of Mastercard, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build seamless cross-border payments involving both crypto and fiat currencies. The role supports smoother trading processes, liquidity management and automation, and works within small autonomous squads that own their problem space.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product team to iterate fast and deliver results
• Translate technical ideas into non-technical terms for stakeholders across the business
• Advocate for the simplest but most effective approach
• Develop future-proof products with consistent, efficient quality code
• Contribute to engineering culture and standards

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a solid backend developer, preferably in FinTech
• Good understanding of financial services, especially banking, payments or crypto
• Data-driven decision-making and excellent written and verbal communication
• Willingness to take part in an out-of-hours on-call rota

Required skills

• Java and Spring Boot
• Building and maintaining APIs and services
• Familiarity with distributed ledger technology or blockchain is a plus
