Senior Frontend Software Engineer - Orchestration and Automation

About the role

Celonis is looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer for its Orchestration Engine & Actions team, which builds user-facing operational interfaces, data visualizations and interactive action triggers. The role takes ownership of client-side architecture, component libraries and frontend performance, working with product managers, UX/UI designers and backend engineers to turn complex workflow requirements into responsive web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain clean, scalable, responsive web applications with Angular and TypeScript
• Architect reusable UI component libraries, scalable state management and efficient client-side data flows
• Turn wireframes and design systems into accessible, pixel-perfect interfaces with UI/UX designers
• Integrate RESTful APIs and real-time data feeds with backend engineers
• Optimize performance, bundle sizes, rendering speed and cross-browser compatibility
• Write tested code with modern unit testing and e2e frameworks, and take part in code reviews
• Mentor junior developers and improve frontend engineering practices

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience building complex web applications
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and strong collaboration across functions

Required skills

• Angular (recent versions), TypeScript, RxJS and modern state management
• HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and responsive design
• RESTful APIs and asynchronous data streams
• Testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright or Cypress
• Web performance optimization, client-side caching and Git/Angular CLI/CI-CD
