Senior Full-Stack Engineer (.NET, Vue.js, Cursor)

About the role

Frontiers Media is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to join the team behind the Research Topic Management (RTM) application, a distributed .NET system with Vue/Nuxt frontends, SQL Server data operations and GitHub/Azure DevOps deployments. The role is senior: you will own complex backend systems and full-stack features end-to-end, from specification and architecture through implementation to production monitoring and incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications with .NET, Vue.js and Nuxt.
• Modernise and migrate legacy systems, including older Angular apps to the Vue and Nuxt stack.
• Own full-stack projects end-to-end, from specification refinement to delivery and production monitoring.
• Work with product managers, architects and cross-functional teams to define requirements, feasibility and implementation strategy.
• Write clean, maintainable code, test thoroughly and optimise for performance, scalability and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems and use AI tooling to improve engineering quality and speed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in .NET Core / .NET Framework.
• 3+ years with modern frontend frameworks (Vue 3 a plus); JavaScript, CSS and HTML are essential.
• Strong expertise in Vue.js (2 and 3), SQL Server, REST APIs and distributed system architectures.
• Comfortable in a multinational, hybrid environment and in Kanban; autonomy and ownership.
