Senior Full Stack Product Engineer

About the role

Leadtech, a digital business group founded in 2009 with more than 800 employees worldwide, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Product Engineer in Barcelona. The engineer acts as a main developer on a web project, owns the stack end to end and works closely with the Product team to define, shape and estimate features.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a main developer on a web project, owning the stack end to end.
• Work as a counterpart to the Product team: define, shape and estimate new features and products, and translate business and monetization goals into technical decisions.
• Implement software development best practices such as CI/CD, automated testing and code reviews.
• Define and track metrics for project health, including performance, stability and code quality.
• Help build team unity and a positive, open culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• More than 5 years of experience building robust, scalable frontend, backend applications and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering design patterns and mobile-first web design.
• Understanding of business metrics such as conversion, churn, retention and margin.
• Experience using AI in development and working in agile environments; excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Firestore, BigQuery).
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational ones (Cloud Firestore, MongoDB); data warehousing tools such as DataBricks or BigQuery are highly valued.
