Senior Interior Designer - Hospitality & High-End Residential

About the role

An international studio based in New York and Madrid is looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer with a strong background in hospitality and high-end residential design. The designer leads concept development, manages design documentation and works closely with project leaders and multidisciplinary teams, reporting directly to Directors and Studio Leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual design narratives and spatial strategies for hospitality projects
• Prepare and evolve design documentation and presentation materials
• Produce plans, drawings and visual presentations that communicate design intent
• Work with clients, operators, architects and consultants
• Review drawings, materials, mock-ups and other project deliverables
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and accessibility standards
• Mentor and support junior designers

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Architecture or Interior Design
• 10+ years of experience in hospitality or high-end residential projects
• Confident, collaborative designer with a strong sense of materiality and spatial composition
• Comfortable working independently within a collaborative studio culture
• Fluent in English and Spanish; EU residency required
