Senior PSCM - Operation Center of Excellence

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY is setting up and developing an Operation Center of Excellence in Madrid (ESOPC) within the Grid & Power Quality Solutions business in Europe. This full-time, on-site role covers supply chain management (SCM) for large projects during the tender stage, ensuring that SCM expertise is used to strengthen the company's offer to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate SCM activities for large projects within the HBU EU organization during the tender stage.
• Ensure SCM intelligence and expertise are applied to each tender opportunity.
• Identify and minimize potential procurement risks during the tender stage.
• Ensure a proper SCM handover from tender to execution teams.
• Transfer lessons learned and best practices from previous projects to new ones.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in general SCM activities within project business, and 3-5 years supporting or taking part in SCM during the tender stage.
• General technical knowledge of project-based industries such as energy and oil & gas.
• Ability to adapt to a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
• Full professional fluency in English.
