Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Leadtech Group builds and scales digital products used by millions of people worldwide; its MAU brand focuses on subscription-based apps and digital products. The company is a remote-first, international team. It is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Infrastructure and DevOps department that powers its products, with the option to work fully remote or from the Barcelona office.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure for backend services, using practices such as Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement and refine monitoring, logging and alerting strategies using GCP's native tools and other solutions.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with mobile, web and backend teams to define and implement best practices for deployment, performance optimization and observability of mobile backends on GCP.
• Ensure security best practices in GCP infrastructure and deployment pipeline configuration.
• Create and maintain technical documentation on deployment architecture, processes and troubleshooting guides.
• Proactively improve GCP infrastructure and DevOps processes for efficiency and reliability.

Required profile

• Strong motivation and a real interest in technology.
• Experience with some programming languages, preferably TypeScript, JavaScript, Go or Python.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• A strong preference for agile and dynamic environments.
• Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration across teams.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, networking)
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Containerization such as Docker
• GCP monitoring and logging tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus and Grafana
