Senior Tax Specialist (Europe & UK)

About the role

Fever, a global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring a Senior Tax Specialist for its Europe and UK region. The role sits within the Tax team, which covers sales taxes, deal structuring, reporting obligations and tax opportunities, and works closely with external advisors. You will work with the Tax Manager and the wider team to support the group's global tax compliance and tax strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse indirect and direct tax matters in Europe and UK jurisdictions and give tailored advice
• Identify risks and potential tax planning opportunities, and determine uncertain tax exposures and manage tax provisions
• Collaborate with third-party service providers and work with Finance and Accounting teams on the application of tax laws
• Support indirect and direct tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, alongside providers and local finance teams
• Prepare applications for tax rulings, tax incentives and tax exemptions where available
• Advise senior management on tax risks and transaction structures for acquisitions
• Contribute to improving internal tax processes and to the company's regional expansion

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant taxation experience gained in practice or industry
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Tax or Law
• Proven experience with Europe and UK tax jurisdictions, across direct and indirect taxes or accounting
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to manage multiple priorities
• Fluent written and spoken English
