Site Identification Lead, IQVIA Biotech

About the role

IQVIA Biotech is looking for a Site Identification Lead in Barcelona. The role performs, manages and coordinates activities for assigned opportunities and projects, including data mining and analysis, recommendations and stakeholder presentations, and supports new team members. It is accountable for IQVIA's planning services and for country, site or enrollment strategies that support new business.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure IQVIA planning services give a competitive edge in winning new business
• Own IQVIA's commitments on future studies by delivering accurate country, site or enrollment strategies for requests for proposals, early engagements, re-bids and potentially awarded studies
• Support materials for feasibility or site lists and enrollment strategies used in customer bid defense meetings
• Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to resolve issues
• Research therapeutic areas using databases, scientific literature and expert medical knowledge, then lead planning meetings with Medical Directors, Therapeutic Strategy Leads, Business Developers, Sales Staff and Program Directors
• Present results of data gathering and analysis, undertake therapeutic training and keep up with clinical research developments
• Train and support new team members and make recommendations for process improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Biological Sciences
• 3 years of related experience in clinical research and/or data analysis; clinical or project management experience preferred
• Good knowledge of medical terminology, GCP, FDA regulations and the drug development process
• In-depth understanding of clinical research
• Fluent report writing in English
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Required skills

• Proficiency with planning tools and an in-depth understanding of IQVIA clinical systems
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer literacy in applicable software
