Social Media Community Manager Internship

About the role

Socialpoint, a mobile game studio part of the Zynga and Take-Two Interactive family, is looking for a Community Manager Intern to help manage, engage and moderate the community and social media channels of its games. The role is hands-on, under the guidance of the Social Media and Community Manager, and involves running Discord operations, keeping the social calendar on track and listening to player feedback. It suits someone who loves games and is an active Discord and social media user.

Key responsibilities

• Discord: act as the main contact with Discord moderators across servers, own day-to-day operations (publishing content, monitoring activity, handling escalations, reporting on server activity), and proactively suggest ways to keep players active and engaged.
• Social media: own the content calendar, scheduling and publishing posts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and other channels, and join content planning sessions to contribute ideas.
• Community listening: engage with players across all channels, flag issues, potential crises and emerging trends early, and keep up with platform changes and competitor moves.

Required profile

• University student currently enrolled in a degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media or a related field, with a university internship agreement (convenio de prácticas).
• High level of written and spoken English, the working language of the role.
• Genuine interest in social media and a good eye for content.
• Experience moderating gaming or online communities is a plus; fluency in additional languages is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Discord as a user, which is central to the role; active presence in gaming servers is a strong signal.
• Strong communication skills.
