Social Media Community Manager Internship

About the role

Zynga, a global interactive entertainment company and label of Take-Two Interactive, is looking for a Community Manager Intern in Barcelona to help manage, engage and moderate the community and social media channels of its games. The role is hands-on, under the guidance of the Social Media and Community Manager, and involves running Discord operations, keeping the social calendar on track and listening to player feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Discord: act as the main contact with Discord moderators across servers, own day-to-day operations (publishing content, monitoring activity, handling escalations), and report regularly on server activity
• Suggest proactive actions and improvements to keep players active and engaged
• Social media: own the content calendar, scheduling and publishing posts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and other channels
• Join content planning sessions and contribute ideas
• Community listening: engage with players across channels, flag issues, potential crises and emerging trends early
• Stay up to date on platform changes and competitor activity and share suggestions

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media or a related field
• A university internship agreement (convenio de prácticas) is required
• High level of written and spoken English, the working language
• Genuine interest in social media and awareness of what works
• Experience moderating gaming or online communities is a plus; fluency in additional languages is a plus
