Software Engineering Scholarship (Beca de Excelencia)

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, offers the Beca de Excelencia programme for software engineers. It supports and retains exceptional talent and accelerates the careers of future top engineers, giving students the chance to start their professional career in a high-performing engineering team. The programme is based in Madrid and lasts 6 months full time, with the possibility of extending another 6 months and a permanent contract afterwards.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced engineers in software, product, data, growth and operations on projects that impact millions of users.
• Take ownership end-to-end: understand the problem, design the solution, implement it, deploy to production and monitor performance.
• Build scalable systems using a distributed services architecture, with Domain-Driven Design and clean architecture principles.

Required profile

• Final-year engineering student or recent graduate (any engineering discipline).
• Outstanding academic record, in the top 10% of the cohort.
• Excited about software development and building products that scale, and able to hit the ground running in a high-performance environment.

Required skills

• Backend: Python (Django / FastAPI)
• Frontend: TypeScript with Angular
• Infrastructure: AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
• Architecture: REST APIs and event-driven systems

What we offer

• 6-month full-time placement, with a possible extension and a permanent contract afterwards.
