Spanish Payroll, Senior Associate

About the role

Strada is looking for a Spanish Payroll Senior Associate to support the team that runs payroll and post-payroll activities, and data management or customer service activities, making sure outputs are accurate and on time. The role can focus on payroll and/or customer service, depending on what is needed.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll end to end on schedule and to agreed KPIs, or carry out data management or customer service work as required
• Support statutory and year-end reporting
• Advise clients on payroll queries and stay up to date with country-specific legislation
• Mentor apprentices and associates, run knowledge transfer sessions and reduce client escalations
• Respond to tickets and calls within SLA, support system maintenance testing and liaise with third parties
• Complete SOC controls on time, report defects and log tickets with evidence
• Take part in root cause analysis, keep DWIs up to date and follow security and compliance procedures
• Accurately record time, follow STRADA security standards and keep up with HR announcements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as accounting, human resources or business administration, or equivalent education and experience
• 2-3 years of experience administering payroll or health and welfare/benefits in an HR consulting, outsourcing or corporate setting
• English and Spanish
• HRIS knowledge: Workday, SAP or PeopleSoft preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive information, work in a global fast-paced environment and collaborate in teams

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal skills
• Self-motivated and willing to learn
