Store Manager - Converse

About the role

Nike is looking for a Store Manager for its Converse store in Madrid. The role is central to running the store effectively, focusing on profit and loss control, customer satisfaction and shrinkage results through oversight of operational aspects. You will lead and inspire the back-of-house team to process stock efficiently and keep the back-of-house environment aligned with the energy and innovation customers experience on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Create an inviting store environment that guarantees a unique shopping experience for customers.
• Coordinate, support and supervise a diverse team and ensure an excellent working atmosphere.
• Manage store budgets and operational processes to achieve sales goals, optimise performance and increase customer satisfaction.
• Support and lead the implementation of CONVERSE strategies in the store, such as sustainability, NIKE Inc. membership and digital offers.
• Provide insights to optimise the store's position in the local market and ensure all CONVERSE standards and guidelines are followed.
• Work in cooperation with business partners from stores and headquarters.

Required profile

• Passion for CONVERSE and/or love of sport.
• 5 years or more of retail and/or leadership experience.
• Fluent Spanish and English, spoken and written.
• Extensive experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, independent and solution-oriented approach, talent for building a strong team, and willingness to work weekends and shifts.
