Strategic Account Manager - Global Partnerships

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Strategic Account Manager for its Global Partnerships team in Barcelona. Retail is one of Glovo's fastest-growing business units, with more than 200 retail brand partnerships, and you will manage and grow these strategic retail partnerships across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Organize business reviews with regional and global partners to define cross-country strategies and bring in the right internal stakeholders so they are applied across markets.
• Attend monthly business reviews with local teams, identify blockers and areas for improvement, and provide ad-hoc support and escalation of issues that cannot be solved locally.
• Ensure new partner activations and onboarding are compliant, respect agreed timelines and go live on time.
• Lead or contribute to complex cross-functional projects with Strategy, Operations, Product, Finance and PIM & Catalog, collecting feedback from local teams and delivering against tight deadlines.
• Develop tools and frameworks for local teams, such as activation guidelines and commercial decks.

Required profile

• 4 to 6 years in fast-paced environments (startups, top consulting firms, leading internet companies, FMCG or retail), including 1+ year as an account manager or in a similar role.
• Solid grasp of FMCG, retail and/or e-commerce models and their revenue and growth drivers.
• Ability to negotiate with senior stakeholders and lead multidisciplinary projects without direct authority.
• Professional proficiency in English; international experience and knowledge of Spanish, Italian or Portuguese are a plus.
