Strategic Buyer – Rear Fuselage Aerostructures (Temp Agency)

About the role

Airbus is looking for a Strategic Buyer to support the Rear Fuselage Aerostructures portfolio within its Procurement Aerostructures PSA team in Getafe, Madrid. The role is temporary and will be delivered through an agency, focusing on contract and supplier management for RUAG work packages.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contracts and commercial relationships for assigned products and suppliers.
• Secure optimal purchasing conditions and deliver value‑creation projects.
• Lead Work Package Teams and ensure alignment with the Multi‑Functional Team.
• Execute supplier selection, monitoring, and contract management processes, including amendments, risk mitigation, and contract termination.
• Support external product and service supply processes and contribute to cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Participate in budget preparation and organise Work Package Team review meetings.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of procurement experience, preferably in aerospace or aerostructures.
• Proven ability to work in intercultural environments and manage projects.
• Strong negotiation, commercial, and legal awareness.
• Experience delivering cost‑reduction and improvement initiatives.
• Fluent English with negotiation proficiency.
