Strategy Analyst - Junior (Hybrid)

About the role

EY GDS Spain is looking for a junior Strategy Analyst to join its team in the Malaga office. You will work on projects using new technologies and approaches, alongside the EY Spain team focused on EY-Parthenon, covering digital transformation, sector convergence and dislocation, and financial and operational complexity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct business and financial research to support strategic and transaction-related projects, commercial due diligence and transformation initiatives.
• Gather and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information to generate actionable business insights.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, reports and business cases for clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance or similar.
• Knowledge and interest in strategy.
• High level of English (C1) and Spanish.
• Ideally a Master's in Strategy, Management or Consulting, and 6 months to 3 years of work experience.
• Proactive, dynamic and able to handle pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Very good knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong research, analytical and synthesis skills, and executive storytelling.
• Ideally: Power Query, Power BI, VBA; knowledge of other languages such as French, German or Portuguese.
