Supply Chain Planning Architect - AI & SAP IBP

About the role

HP is hiring a Supply Chain Planning Architect in Sant Cugat del Valles to design and govern technology solutions such as SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S/4HANA, and integration platforms. The role optimizes end-to-end supply chain planning (forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, S&O planning) and leads the roadmap for digital transformation, bridging business needs with technical reality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the architecture vision and roadmap for the digital supply chain, aligned with enterprise goals.
• Create detailed system designs, blueprints and models for complex supply chain applications (SAP IBP, S/4HANA, MS4).
• Design integration strategies, data contracts and APIs for data flow between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Research and recommend new technologies (AI, analytics) to improve efficiency and innovation.
• Lead design governance, ensuring solutions meet security, reliability and scalability standards.
• Partner with business leaders, enterprise architects and engineering teams to turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee end-to-end design of major initiatives, from concept to implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field.
• Typically 10+ years of experience, preferably in supply chain planning, operations or a related field.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• International travel of 25-50%, and international collaboration and late shifts if based in the EMEA region.
• Advanced communication and influence skills, including the ability to drive change.

Required skills

• Extensive experience in supply chain planning solution architecture and autonomous planning.
• Deep knowledge of ERP (SAP IBP, S/4HANA a plus), integration platforms, data management and modern software engineering.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as SAP, HANA, Data Lake and data engineering integration.
• Preferred: artificial intelligence acumen and direct experience building AI solutions.

• Pay of $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually, with possible bonus and/or equity (US candidates only).
