Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People team in Barcelona. In this full‑time position you will drive end‑to‑end recruitment for a fast‑growing ad‑tech company, partnering with hiring managers across international locations to attract top talent.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle: CV review, phone screens, interview coordination, offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, social media, university networks and other innovative search techniques.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, set expectations and ensure high‑quality, long‑term hires.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date candidate pipeline in the JazzHR ATS.
• Use recruitment data and analytics to identify bottlenecks, build business cases and improve time‑to‑hire and quality‑of‑hire.
• Deliver a smooth, professional candidate experience at every stage.
• Represent Smadex at networking events, university fairs and virtual meet‑ups to promote our culture.
• Collaborate with the broader HR and Office team to meet overall recruitment goals and strengthen the employer brand.

Required profile

• 2+ years of in‑house recruiting experience, preferably in a fast‑paced start‑up or hyper‑growth tech environment.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
• Curious, data‑driven mindset with a genuine interest in talent acquisition.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with an ATS, specifically JazzHR.
• Proficiency in sourcing tools and platforms such as LinkedIn and other social media channels.
• Ability to analyse recruitment metrics and apply data‑driven insights.
