Tax Specialist (EMEA)

About the role

Fever, a global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for a Tax Specialist to lead its tax practice across the EMEA region. Working closely with the Tax Manager, you will support the global tax compliance and strategy of a high-growth group, acting as the regional expert on direct and indirect tax matters in diverse jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse direct and indirect tax matters in APAC and Middle East jurisdictions and give tailored advice
• Identify tax risks and potential tax planning opportunities, and determine uncertain tax exposures and manage tax provisions
• Collaborate with third-party service providers and work with Finance and Accounting teams on the application of tax laws
• Support tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities together with third-party providers and local finance teams
• Prepare applications for tax rulings, tax incentives and tax exemptions where available
• Advise senior management on tax risks and transaction structures for acquisitions
• Improve internal tax processes and contribute to the company's regional expansion

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant taxation experience gained in practice or industry
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Tax or Law
• Proven experience with EMEA jurisdictions, across direct and indirect taxes or accounting
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to manage multiple priorities
• Fluent written and spoken English
