Team Manager SAP

About the role

JBT Marel is hiring a Team Manager SAP, a people-management-focused role in its Corporate IT Global – Business Applications – SAP department. You will lead and grow a high-performing SAP team of specialists across Sales, Service and Procurement, combining domain knowledge with strong leadership and a commitment to Relentless Continuous Improvement. The role is hybrid, with 2-3 days per week onsite in Madrid.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of SAP specialists across Sales, Service and Procurement
• Drive a people agenda covering hiring, onboarding, performance management and career development
• Embed a culture of Relentless Continuous Improvement (RCI) within the team
• Align team objectives with business priorities and SAP strategy
• Ensure high-quality delivery through planning, prioritization and team coordination
• Act as the main point of escalation and support for team members
• Foster collaboration across SAP domains and promote standardization and harmonization of SAP solutions
• Work with stakeholders to turn their needs into team goals and support change during transformation initiatives

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and developing SAP or IT delivery teams
• People management, coaching and performance development experience
• Experience in international and cross-functional environments
• Strong English and Spanish communication skills
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA landscapes is a plus

Required skills

• Understanding of SAP processes in Sales, Service and Procurement
• Continuous improvement methods such as Lean, Agile or similar
• Stakeholder management and communication
