ag · Albacete
Job description
About the role
Airing Helicopters (Albacete, Spain) is looking for a Tech Lead for its Digital Campus, which is a centre of excellence in industrial digitalization and innovation. The Integration Platform Team designs, builds and monitors secure API and middleware connections that synchronize data, automate workflows and link legacy and cloud systems. The Tech Lead helps design, build and maintain the standard templates for error handling, logging and security, and defines the development's best practices for real-time REST APIs, asynchronous event-driven messaging (e.g. Solace or TIBCO EMS) and scheduled batch transfers (e.g. Qlik Talend). The role works closely with the team Architect and all Product Managers.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical roadmap of the integration ecosystem and design resilient, scalable and secure patterns (event-driven, sync/async APIs, batch processing).
- Lead by example: write clean, production-ready code for core components, run rigorous code reviews and set engineering best practices.
- Advocate for developers: promote standard schemas, self-service APIs and robust documentation to speed up delivery.
- Build observability and resilience: distributed tracing, advanced monitoring and automated self-healing to reduce MTTR.
- Mentor and coach a dedicated team of integration engineers.
Required profile
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
- Ability to turn technical platform concepts into business value for stakeholders and to collaborate with other engineering teams.
- Curiosity to learn new technologies and an analytical mindset for troubleshooting code and logic flow.
Required skills
- Integration paradigms, enterprise service patterns and event-driven architecture.
- Designing and managing enterprise-grade API gateways and service meshes.
What we offer
- Permanent position with an attractive salary.
- Hybrid working model and collective transport service.
- Vacation days plus additional days off (about 35 per year).
- Life insurance, health insurance, employee stock options, retirement plan or study grants.
- On-site facilities such as a free canteen, kindergarten and medical office.
- Upskilling opportunities and development prospects in a multicultural environment.
