Waiter / Waitress – Lanzarote Playa

About the role

Join the Barceló Hotel Group as a Waiter/Waitress at the Barcelo Lanzarote Playa resort. You will be part of a family‑owned hospitality brand that serves thousands of guests daily, delivering high‑quality food and beverage service in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide qualified, autonomous, and responsible service and sales of food and beverages.
• Welcome guests, seat them when necessary, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Prepare, set up, and dismantle service areas, including tables and chairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and service tools.
• Support the team in delivering efficient and courteous service throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Medium‑level hospitality training (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio in Hospitality) and knowledge of HACCP/APPCC.
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar waiter or restaurant role.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Team‑player attitude, stress tolerance, agility, and a well‑kept personal image.
• Strong social skills and customer‑orientation.

Required skills

• APPCC (HACCP) certification or training.
