Waitress – Luxury Beach Hotel

About the role

The Waitress will provide attentive food and beverage service to guests at W Ibiza, a luxury beachfront hotel. You will ensure a seamless dining experience by handling orders, serving meals and drinks, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer guest questions on menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding wait times, re‑cooks, and product availability.
• Relay dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Record transactions in the MICROS POS system at the time of order.
• Check in with guests to confirm satisfaction with each course and beverage.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking, turning off lights, and preparing the service area for the next day.
• Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.
• Follow all company safety and security procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests and kitchen staff.
• Ability to handle multiple guest requests and maintain attention to detail.
• Commitment to hygiene, safety, and service standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS POS system.
